The semi-final was played at the Dubai International Stadium on Thursday, September 10. Batting first, India scored 149 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

Shafali Verma top-scored for India with a 64-run knock from 40 balls. Her innings included 7 fours and 3 sixes.
For Bangladesh, Sultana Khatun took the most wickets, claiming 2.
Smriti Mandhana was dismissed for 2 runs, while Pratika Rawal scored 20, captain Harmanpreet Kaur made 24, Richa Ghosh scored 21 and Deepti Sharma contributed 13 runs. Bharati Fulmali was run out without scoring.
Bangladesh Restricted to 109 Runs
Chasing 150, Bangladesh could not build a strong innings and finished with 109 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Shorna Akter was Bangladesh’s highest scorer with 22 runs, including 1 four and 1 six. Dilara Akter scored 21, Juwairia Ferdous made 14, Sobhana Mostary scored 18, captain Nigar Sultana made 19, Sharmin Akter scored 1 and Fathima Khatun contributed 14 runs. Rabeya Khan was dismissed without scoring.

Deepti Sharma was India’s leading bowler in the second innings, taking 3 wickets.
Bangladesh lost its first wicket at 26 runs when Juwairia Ferdous was dismissed. The second wicket fell at 35 runs. The team then lost its third wicket at 66, fourth at 76, fifth at 83, and sixth and seventh wickets at 109 runs.
Bangladesh finished on 109 for 7 in 20 overs, giving India a 40-run victory and a place in the final.
